About Me

Welcome to my creative space! I'm Olivia Naomi, a  versatile artist deeply passionate about everything visual design, especially costumes! 

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Technology from Texas Tech University, where I immersed myself in a diverse range of theatrical disciplines. In high school, I earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Lee College, shaping my early dedication to a well-rounded education. 

My expertise spans various facets of the entertainment industry. From costume and makeup design for live productions, to working backstage for TV commercials and simulation trainings for healthcare professionals. I've been an integral part of the behind-the-scenes magic with a multitude of crewing credits, highlighting my adaptability in diverse creative settings and a unique blend of skills. 

My proficiency covers a broad spectrum of tools from experience in Vectorworks, 3-D printing, Qlab, and other programs, to hand rendering, creative direction/conceptualization, and detailed research. My personal strengths lie in fostering inclusive environments and effective collaboration.

As a queer woman of Hispanic heritage, I am dedicated to promoting diversity and breaking down barriers within the arts. My designs not only captivate visually but also reflect respect for all individuals. Rooted in an intersectional and empathetic approach, I offer a unique perspective and strong work ethic, making me a valuable asset to any creative team.
